Do you remember that wonderful Nutella magic ice cream we had a while back? Nutella & bananas – need I say more, really? If you missed it, take a peek here.
Trust me, I’d loooooove to be doing a face plant in a jar of Nutella right now. But we’re starting the year off on a healthy eating kick (we’ll see how long I can stand it), so there isn’t a jar of Nutella in sight. The dark chocolate I have stashed away so no one else will get it doesn’t count right – ’cause it’s healthy and all.
Having a ginormous sweet tooth with no sugar in sight makes a person do crazy things – like come up with two new flavors of magic ice cream that are completely healthy! I’ll prove it: The banana mango ice cream is made from two things. Yep, you guessed it – frozen bananas and frozen mango chunks.
And the strawberry banana mint ice cream is the same deal, with a drizzle of honey.
I see you rolling your eyes. I was skeptical the first time I tried the magic ice cream made with just bananas too. Oh I was so wrong – it was fabulous, (and I don’t even like bananas unless they’re still a little green). These two new fruity ice creams are even better! So creamy and rich tasting, you won’t believe there’s not a smidge of cream to be seen, or sugar for that matter. And you won’t even miss it!
The best part is – if you’ve got frozen fruit in your freezer, you can be in ice cream nirvana in less than 10 minutes!
- BANANA MANGO MAGIC ICE CREAM

- Add mango and bananas to a food processor. Cover and process, occasionally stopping to scrape the sides, and push the mixture down towards the blade. This will take about 3-5 minutes. When the mixture comes together and becomes creamy, it's ready!
- Serve immediately, or cover and freeze to enjoy later.
